The Enve Aero Road IN-Route stem and Enve spacers are pictured for reference only and not included in this listing. We have our own 3D printed Enve compatible spacers that can be purchased separately, details below. Otherwise this bearing cover is compatible with the OEM spacer purchased directly from Enve.

Overview

This MagCAD top bearing cover has been a popular request for those wishing to mount an Enve IN-Route stem to their Specialized Aethos road bike.

This remodelled bearing cover links the integrated design of the Enve IN-Route stem to the more rounded shape of the Aethos, improving aesthetics and allowing the use of an integrated computer mount out front for a super clean cockpit. The Aethos has external cables. Therefore this bearing cover does not have any provision for internal cable routing.

This MagCAD top bearing cover has a stack height of 5.1mm. The Enve stem can be fitted directly on top for a "slammed" low stack height setup or fitted with Enve IN-Route spacers, not supplied, for a taller headset stack height.

OEM Enve spacers, which are a split design, and can be purchased from Enve directly. Otherwise we have both 5mm and 10mm 3D printed non split spacers available to purchase separately, depending on how many are required for your particular installation.

Please note: This bearing cover does not have any provision for internal cable routing as the Aethos has external cabling. You will need to select a handlebar that has either external cable routing or internal routing but with an exit before the stem connection.

Application

All MagCAD headset parts are 3D printed in a durable Nylon to ensure they are robust to many years of use. As with any steering related components they should be installed by a competent mechanic and inspected regularly. Incorrect assembly or mis-use may result in damage to the headset components and/or injury.

Compatible 5mm and 10mm spacers can be purchased separately should they be required.
